Hows everybody doing?

Here's a fresh load of 4 pictures for your eyes to feast on... i'd like to shot how different lighting and environemnt effects mobile phone camera pictures...

1] indoors natural 6am sunlight (yes its bright at 6am where I am now)
2] indoors flouracent lighting (it's an RC model)
3] 4pm sunset lighting (shot from my car hence the major cropping)
4] 4.30pm downtown sunlight (it gets dark here at 5pm)

I think mobile phone camera enthusiasts best time to shoot is any time, anywhere with good lighting of course

dont forget the blog I update everyday at

Problem and Solution with MUPA...

Hello,

I'd like to share my not so good experience shooting on a bright day outside with MUPA...

My problem...
1) No viewfinder so you have to rely on the LCD which is hard to see during bright days.
2) The pixels easily overflow due to bright illumination from the scene especially when the bright sky is the background. The antiblooming circuitry may take some time to correct pixel blooming. Even when it does, the picture has no contrast and looks dull. This occurs even when I adjust the exposure value (ev) to its lowest possible position...

My solution...
1)Cover the LCD screen with one hand. Better still bring a black cloth to cover the whole MUPA so it is possible to see what the LCD has to show.
2)Aim for the shot, momentarilly cover the MUPA lens with one hand to get a dark image. When the LCD is dark remove your hand. A picture would start to form but before it saturates, shoot and pray you get a nice shot...

1st picture is in BW because I could'nt get the blue sky to work. Its a picture of the Hamamatsu Castle, viewed by a Ninja just before he pounces. 2nd picture is with no sky as the background, so no number (2) problem for the MUPA...

dont forget my blog ya

Hello,

For those of you first timers on my fotopages, welcome!!! All of the pictures otherwise told are taken using my 1.3MP mobile phone camera...

Yesterday I went for a conference on the latest technology regarding CMOS image sensors. I didnt want to go but one of my pixel designs had to presented. We arrived early and I thought that our group was just going to see the tower for fun...I had no idea but the best part of the conference was that it was held beside TOKYO TOWER!!! I'm lad I went...

The pictures you are about to view are taken as I approached the tower. If you notice, the frames I designed for this entry have the same color as the tower

People say this tower was constructed from steel of Japanese Tanks from world war II...
